Sisters, Oregon is located on the eastside of the Cascade Mountains in Central Oregon, about 100 miles SE of Portland.

Yes, there are numerous, garden style condo and townhouse communities. Most have small yards and mountain views. 

There are currently 2 condo/townhouse listings For Sale as of July, 2022 in Sisters, OR. The range is $475,000 for a 1455 sq ft townhouse, up to $595,000 for an 1150 sq ft single level unit in coveted Pine Meadow.

What Neighborhoods are in Sisters, OR?

Sisters Country covers roughly 10 square miles. And within that area are numerous neighborhoods which are nestled in the pines or set amongst the sage and rock canyons. Whatever your lifestyle, you will find a place that will suit you. 

Backing up to popular Whychus Creek, you will find the urban platted neighborhoods of Buck Run, Creekside, Timber Creek and Coyote Springs. Sited on modest lots, these neighborhoods are still wooded and provide that sense of rural seclusion.

Pine Meadow Village sits on the western edge of town, and provides amazing views of the Three Sisters mountains. You will find both houses and townhouses here, amongst fantastic green space. 

Northwest of town, off highway 20 is Tollgate, a neighborhood in a rural setting, with mature pines providing seclusion. There are 440 lots, developed back in the ‘70’s and suitable for equestrian owners. Most lots are ½ acre in size which affords backyard horse owners space they need. The streets are named after equestrian tack, which further encompases Sister’s Country living.

Just 4 miles west of town is the Crossroads neighborhood. Much like Tollgate, yet smaller in size, Crossroads is about 200 lots with a broad range of house styles. There is a very relaxed design/construction requirement in Crossroads.

To the north of town is Indian Ford Meadows and Sage Meadow. Both areas offer a wide range of house styles and sizes. Most of the property in these areas is acreage of all sizes. As you might expect, ranches, farms and animals are commonplace. One of the best features of either of these neighborhoods is the quiet seclusion, the amazing night skies and the close distance to town. Paradise found! 

A little bit further NE of town is Squaw Creek Canyon Estate, located in the rimrock country area. Still a part of Sisters Country, the Squaw Creek Canyon Estates neighborhood is set in a rural area, with large acreage sized lots adorned with juniper and sage. You will also find plenty of mature pines, BLM access and amazing rock formations and out cropings. 

Aspen Lakes, a clustered golf community on the east edge of town was first developed in the 1980’s and built our through the 1990’s. A neighborhood of mostly custom houses, this coveted neighborhood rarely has much for sale, and when there are those opportunities, they tend to sell quickly.
